In Sketches for Roam, the filmmaker takes the viewer on a fantastical journey across four continents, two sub-continents and a thousand islands. Daniel takes on the role of an existential documentary filmmaker who sets about to investigate the nature of space, time and the universe. As the film proceeds, Dan discovers that his very life is in the balance when, following a diagnosis of terminal leukemia, he is given 6 months to live.
Dan Northcott is the talented 29-year-old son of acclaimed 60s folk singer and recording artist Tom Northcott. Daniel passed away June 22nd, 2009. His Family wishes to further his life dream of using his film to spread his inspiring love of the world and this life we are given.
